Served daily from 09:00 to 12:30. On the menu for the most important meal: eggs any style, Vojvodina French toast, Bačka breakfast, grilled polenta with cheese and soured milk.

The history of an address
Laze Telečkog 5
Before Lazin Salaš, the famous Novi Sad merchant family Milutinović lived at Laze Telečkog 5. Later, this same space was assigned to the Serbian National Theatre.
In the middle of the twentieth century, the famous Serbian National Theatre actor Ivan Hajtl, one of the most striking figures of the Vojvodina stage, lived at this very address.
Our mission
The challenge is to understand the needs and wishes of the new, young guests of Lazin Salaš, while at the same time keeping the old and regular guests who are largely responsible for the restaurant's reputation.
Lazin Salaš opened on 14 April 2011 as a restaurant that promises good food and legendary stories. In a time of globalisation, when cooking is a fashion and home cooking is at risk of being forgotten, we have managed to preserve the spirit of tradition to this day.
Ambiance
The ambiance of our restaurant is authentic, with rustic details, and traditional Vojvodina architecture sets the basic tempo. In our restaurant you will feel as though you have entered the home of a well-known Vojvodinian host who welcomes you with a smile and warm hospitality.
The concept of our cuisine
We tell our gastronomic story through the prism of ingredients, places and people that Serbia is proud of, but may have forgotten. Less noticed dishes that deserve to be revived and put in dialogue with other parts of the world: sarma, stuffed peppers, beans, tripe, veal shank, bećarac, lamb, Bačka pilaf, grill, gibanica, šnenokle, poppy-seed strudel…
All of this is only part of our offer, which has to be experienced with all the senses.

Besides authentic dishes you don't get the chance to eat elsewhere in town, our heartfelt recommendations are the following specialties:
